CRISPVS NOB CAES Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Crispus to right. Rev. PRI[NCIPI] I-VVENT Crispus standing front in military attire, head to right, holding spear in his right hand and globe in his left. Alföldi pl. I, 29. Ramskold, Festival (2016), Group 5.2, p. 224, 73 (this coin, Ø30/R27) and pl. 5, fig. 073. RIC 137. Very rare. Slightly rough and with some minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.

This obverse die for Crispus was used both with the 'PRINCIPI IVVENT' type and the 'VOTA PVBLICA' reverse showing Isis on her ship.
